Hi, I’m Christian
I build websites for small businesses from Kelowna, BC, and sailing schools across the globe.
The story
I’ve been building websites for clients and personal projects for years, working primarily in WordPress with the Kadence ecosystem. I focus on sites that are practical first, fast, easy to maintain, and built to actually move the needle for the businesses they serve.
My day job is in marketing and business development at International Yacht Training (IYT), one of the world’s largest sailing certification bodies. I’ve spent years inside the maritime industry, and I’ve built a custom School Management Platform that handles bookings and admin for IYT-affiliated sailing schools.
That combination is unusual. Most web designers don’t know anything about sailing schools. Most sailing school operators don’t know what a well-built modern website looks like. I sit in the middle, which is why sailing schools are my favourite client type.
I also work with local Kelowna-area businesses and have built sites for landscaping companies, home services businesses, and other small operators. The work overlaps more than you’d think: both audiences want a site that works, looks professional, and brings in customers without becoming a maintenance burden.
How I work
The approach and what to expect.
Fixed price projects
Every project has a clear scope, price, and timeline upfront.
You work with me directly
No subcontracting, no overseas outsourcing, just me.
Honest scope
If your project doesn’t need a feature, I’ll tell you. If it needs something I haven’t quoted, I’ll flag it.
A little more personally

When I’m not building websites, I’m probably playing golf (a stubborn 15 handicap), out on the water, or working on the various side projects that keep things interesting. I live in Kelowna with my gorgeous wife Kaitlyn, and have lived here since I moved from Florida as a child.
I went to school at the University of Victoria an obtained a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree specializing in Entrepreneurship. With that said, I know a little about a lot, and that let’s me tailor my thought processes towards specific tasks.
